sign on building reading "When we turn I into We Illness becomes Wellness"

This year, we are focusing on two key elements of mental health with our events: activity and connection. We hope you will join our walking teams, come see us at resource tables, get connected to resources, and feel supported by your community at these events! (Fingers crossed for some sunshine at our outdoor events as well!)

The event includes an untimed 5 K walk, with the option for a timed 5K or 10 K run.

12th Annual Alaska Advanced Trauma Training Institute

Also in May, we will host our 12th Annual Alaska Advanced Trauma Training Institute!

The Alaska Advanced Trauma Training Institute features local Alaskan and national experts who share the latest research and advances in the neurobiology of traumatic stress, trauma-informed systems, and clinical interventions for complex trauma in children and adults. This high-quality professional development opportunity exists to expand the knowledge of and support the development of trauma-informed care for behavioral health and social service providers across Alaska.
